happy birthday!

it was my 29th birthday on friday, and we went to celebrate it at the whip restaurant in vancouver. drew wonders why i like the place so much, and i think it's because i have fond memories of meeting friends for good food, drinks and conversation. though it is not the same place any more (their menu has changed and my personal circumstances have changed), i liked that i could be there again with friends. the waitress observed that we were a summery crowd with beautiful babies and lots of laughter.
