Moving from monosyllabic sounds onto multi-syllable gibberish, she has recently discovered her tongue and enjoys rolling "l"and "r" sounds off of it.
Her favourite pastime is peekaboo. Yesterday when we lay in bed together for "our"afternoon nap, she rolled around singing happily. Then suddenly, she put her head faced down on the bed next to my body and got up suddenly yelling, "Boo!" I couldn't believe it. She also loves imitating people, clapping, flapping her arms, patty-cakes, blowing bubbles in her cup, and singing loudly. She'll bounce to music, tilt her head back and sing, "la la la" or "ya ya ya." She'll even hum to herself when she's tired.
Her favourite line in a book is from Moo Ba La La La. Whenever I read, "Three singing pigs say 'la la la, ' 'Oh no!'you say, 'that's not right. Pigs say oink all day and night...' " she laughs hysterically.
She loves to eat chicken, not puréed, but off the bone, even though she has yet to sprout a tooth! She enjoys her soups, especially ones made with ginger. She prefers lamb to beef and pork. And most of all she loves people. Her eyes light up at the sight of other kids and adults, always wanting to be part of the action.
She wakes up with a sparkle in her eyes, ready for a new adventure. She sucks my face when I ask for a "bbo-bbo" (kiss). She calls me "ma-ma"and greets me with a smile. Indeed she is a little charmer, and I am completely captivated.

She is JUST like her Uncle John...loves to sing, enjoys gnawing chicken off the bone, and above all, loves people! He will be SO proud of sweet Jordan!
