yesterday drew and i went to the women's hospital for our detailed ultrasound and appointment with the genetic counsellor. to make a long story short, our daughter is healthy and the artifact, which was in fact an indicator for an echogenic focus was unconfirmed.
all is well, and it's nice to begin the new year with this reassurance. we received a new ultrasound photo that i've posted...
it looks like she has my lips and nose!
