my favourite scene in the movie Dumbo is when the mother elephant sings the lullabye for her son. this is how i picture motherhood.
honestly, i have been finding it difficult to envision this kind of love, but this morning as i saw the arms and legs of this tiny little hong-shih inside me, i couldn't believe it! it was so amazing and wonderful.
i was disappointed that the technician couldn't tell whether our little sweetpersimmon (hong-shih) is a boy or a girl, but as long as he/she is healthy that's all that matters.
it's beginning to hit me that this is more than a strange tummy-ache.
